Lamb's Gate offers Kinder Bridge and Kindergarten classes.
Our Kinder Bridge class is a half day program that meets five days a week. This unique program was started to give students one more year of development before they enter a full day kindergarten program. It is a wonderful fit for students who turn five in the summer or early fall or for those who might benefit from a half day program over a full day program. Kinder Bridge uses Handwriting Without Tears curriculum along with literature-based lessons that incorporate all different subject areas.
Our full day kindergarten class meets Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except on Tuesday, when we have Early Out at 12:00 p.m. Lunch Buddies is available for Kindergarten students to stay until 2:00 on Tuesday. This class uses Purposeful Design, Saxon Math curriculum, and Hooked on Phonics as the basis for teaching the core academic subjects. These foundation curricula are coordinated with themed, teacher-planned lessons and a variety of supplementary activities. Learning is hands-on and highly integrated between subject areas. Students also participate in excellent enrichment options, including art, music, physical education, library, Spanish, and educational field trips.
The Kinder Bridge and Kindergarten classes meet together for daily worship and Bible lessons.
